Nadia Pirbhai is a practicing Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), and the owner/operator of the Onward Wellness clinic. Nadia has experience in various settings providing psychological support to a wide demographic of individuals, including Correctional Service Canada (CSC), First Nations, Public Safety Personnel (PSP) agencies including the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and other municipal services including paramedic and fire, frontline health services, and other general mental health clients. Nadia has a passion for working with frontline individuals and vulnerable populations.

Nadia is passionate about helping her clients live more purposeful and rewarding lives. She focuses on building rapport with each of her clients and emphasizes empathy and authenticity as cornerstones of therapy. Nadia enjoys using cognitive and mindfulness-based skills, as well as exposure and psychodynamic therapy to help uncover the roots of distressing experiences, helping clients manage and resolve their roadblocks while simultaneously recognizing their strengths and potential.
