Kathy is a practicing Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) at Onward Wellness clinic. Kathy has worked with a diverse clientele over her career including employees of Correctional Service Canada (CSC), members of The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Veterans (Veterans Affairs Canada), First Nations and those with addictions and other general mental health needs.
Kathy recognizes It takes a tremendous amount of courage to ask for help and that almost everyone can benefit from the opportunity to share and explore one’s personal story in a safe setting. This experience can lead to learning new skills, recognizing existing strengths and/or gaining a new perspective. All of which can be helpful in reducing symptoms, discomfort and increase overall quality of life. Kathy truly enjoys building relationships with her clients while utilizing cognitive, exposure and psychodynamic based therapy.
“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should or need to do it alone.”
