Robyn is in the final stages of completing a master’s in counselling We are excited to have her join the Onward Wellness clinic to complete her practicum from the fall 2024 to spring 2025.

Robyn has dedicated over fifteen years to the field of mental health, building a robust career that spans various capacities and specialties. With a deep commitment to supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging circumstances, Robyn has honed expertise, addressing both mental health and substance disorders.

Focusing on mental health, trauma, and relationships, Robyn approaches counselling with a nuanced understanding of how these challenges intersect and impact individuals’ lives. She holds the perspective that all persons are deserving of healing, and a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for counselling. Robyn utilizes a combination of attachment-based therapy, psychodynamics, and schema therapy to help uncover the roots of distressing experiences, helping clients manage and resolve their challenges, while increasing their awareness of their strengths and potential. In addition to this, Robyn has provided invaluable support through attachment and relational counselling, helping clients navigate the complexities of their relationships and emotional connections.

Throughout her career, Robyn has worked in diverse settings, from one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and with families, always bringing a compassionate and evidence-based approach to her practice. Robyn’s dedication to continuous learning and professional growth has kept her at the forefront of mental health care, making a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.
